Care Guide

How To Care For Your Satin Garment

Satin is synonymous with luxury, boasting a smooth, lustrous surface that exudes elegance. Known for its delicate drape and soft sheen, satin is a versatile fabric perfect for eveningwear, lingerie, and upscale accessories. Its lightweight yet durable weave adds sophistication to any garment while offering a comfortable, polished finish.

Tip #1

Hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent to preserve the fabric's sheen and texture.

Tip #2

If machine washing, use a delicate cycle and place the garment in a mesh laundry bag for added protection.

Tip #3

Lay flat or hang in a shaded area to dry; avoid tumble drying as heat can damage the fabric.

Tip #4

If needed, iron on the reverse side using the lowest heat setting to prevent scorch marks or shine.

Tip #5

Gently press out excess water after washing to avoid creases and maintain the fabric's smooth finish.

Tip #6

Hang or fold satin garments with tissue paper to prevent creases and avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
